Throughout his 42 years, Joshua lived by a commitment to helping others, serving on charitable committees and giving his time as a charity auctioneer for more than two decades. Driven by a deep passion for giving back, Joshua spent over 20 years serving on nonprofit boards and volunteering as an auctioneer, helping raise tens of millions for charity. To honor his enduring impact, the Joshua M Katz Memorial Fund continues his legacy by offering scholarships, grants, and vital resources to strengthen local communities. The Jewish Relief Agency is honored to manage the Josh Katz Jewish Relief Fund. JRA is grateful for the opportunity to honor Josh’s legacy through careful and impactful stewardship of these funds.

Parameters

Individuals or families applying for assistance from the JRA Josh Katz Jewish Relief Fund must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants must identify as Jewish, which is defined as:

Having at least one Jewish birth parent or having completed a Jewish conversion recognized by a standard Jewish denomination;
Not actively practicing or identifying with another religion.

2. An applicant does not need to be an existing client of JRA, but does need to live within one of the following counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia.

3. The request for assistance must meet the parameters outlined in this document.

4. Must complete Josh Katz Jewish Relief Fund Application and submit required documentation.
