On Thursday, December 3, 2026— as we are preparing the lights for Hanukkah—the Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) invites you to our Annual Event, "A Constant Light In Changing Times" to honor past Board Chair Bill Novick for his inspiring leadership. Just as the holiday candles are lit to dispel the darkness, JRA lights the way as a beacon of hope for thousands of vulnerable children, seniors, and families facing severe economic hardships across Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.
With more than 250,000 neighbors across Pennsylvania and New Jersey losing SNAP benefits this year, JRA illuminates the path forward through our unwavering commitment to help and to build personal connections between givers and recipients. Since launching in 2000, our multi-generational volunteer network—ranging in age from 2 to 96—has brightened our region by delivering over 15 million pounds of food across 311 distributions to over 20,500 neighbors in need. Today, JRA continues to light the way for 8,348 clients annually, providing 594,000 pounds of nutritious kosher food alongside essential goods, case management, and dignified care when our neighbors need it most.
Join us for JRA’s 2026 Annual Event to End Hunger: "A Constant Light In Changing Times." on Thursday, December 3rd. Gather with us as we celebrate the power of community, honor Bill Novick, and pledge to keep bringing more light into the world.
