JRA Juniors Packing Shift
JRA Juniors is designed for families with kids under 10 to join us at our warehouse from 9:00 to 10:00 AM one Sunday a month. This is a great way to get more involved with JRA and to start conversations around food insecurity, mitzvahs (good deeds), and volunteering. Advanced registration is required.
Produce Packing Shift
Early risers are welcome to volunteer at our Produce Packing Shift during our Monthly Food Distribution. Individuals will sort bulk produce, which will be included in the food boxes. The produce packing shift begins at 8:30 AM on Distribution Sundays. Produce packing only takes place from May - October. Advanced registration is required and capacity is limited.
Weekday Packing Shifts & Groups
In addition to a box of kosher pantry staples, JRA provides other necessities to recipient families. Once a month, on Thursday and Friday, JRA volunteers are needed to assist with building boxes, packing family-friendly food bags, packing toiletry and household items, and additional tasks as needed.
These shifts are on a first-come basis for groups like schools, corporate groups, summer camps, and other affinity groups. As needed, individuals and families will be invited to volunteer for these shifts. Advanced registration is required.
