Backpacks for Sucess Program

School supply drives have a profound impact on a child’s ability to thrive in the classroom starting on day one. Since 2012, JRA has delivered backpacks and school supplies to participating families with school-aged children, through our annual Backpacks for Success program. These supplies are delivered alongside a 15 lb. box of food, a bag of kid-friendly items for breakfast and lunch, fresh produce, and other critical supplies. JRA will distribute backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of children during its July 2024 Food Distribution. 

This year we are asking for monetary and corporate in-kind donations to help us purchase dozens of school supplies, including crayons, scissors, dry-erase markers, composition books, folders, glue sticks, pencils, pencils, colored pencils, folders, highlighters, loose leaf paper, pens, rulers, binders, and spiral notebooks. We also have an Amazon wishlist available to purchase items and have them sent directly to us.
